Fit Girl Factory is based in Canterbury, Kent and we are lucky enough to have some wonderful, independent, creative eateries serving real food sourced locally.
One of Fit Girl's favourites is Kitch, who pride themselves on serving delicious, fresh, homemade food made with all natural & wholegrain, seasonal ingredients. Their cakes and coffee is also to die for and this is where my flat white addiction began.
Owner Emily is determined to serve food the right way - so, KITCH make everything right in front of the customer in their open kitchen, they cook everything from scratch using local, free range meat and eggs and only serve responsibly sourced fish.
Their deliciously healthy kitchen is full of lovely natural, wholegrain ingredients free from refined sugars, flours & artificial flavours!
Emily's philosophy are not just words, she lives by it and so do her staff - customer service is also top of the list and this is an area Kitch never fails! The combination of fab food and a great welcome have meant that Kitch is now getting national recognition in the press.
The last time I visited at breakfast time I decided to try the new Kitch Brunch a baked flat mushroom topped with pesto cherry tomatoes & served with sesame crusted avocado, steamed kale, poached eggs & hummus, served with wholemeal sourdough toast - wonderful and Emily and I decided it was quite simply "a plate of good things."
